WG2 - Standards

In order to work on the challenge of unifying current approaches and compiling best practices and standards, a Working Group for formulating and preparing decisions on standard procedures will be established. This group will work on benchmarks and metrics for the performance assessment of different methodological tsunami hazard analysis approaches. Thus, the main topics of this Working Group will be

• Development of performance metrics
• Unification of terminology and documentation standards
• Formulation of common standards in hazard assessment

The main deliverables will be reports on metrics and guidelines that serve as input to stakeholders.
