CIG Final Meeting Transport and Accommodation Information

Every participant is asked to organize his/her own arrangement.

Transport:

• Arriving from the city center, take Metro Line B direction Laurentina, getting off at the last
  stop “Laurentina”, and then a bus (702, 720, or 765) up to the stop “Vigna Murata/Istituto di
  Geofisica”. The Institute is across the street.
• Arriving from Ciampino Airport, take bus 720 up to INGV.
• Arriving from Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express train to the Termini station or
  a regional train to the Ostiense station. Travel time is about 30’.
• From Termini and Ostiense, take Metro B to Laurentina and then the bus. Alternatively, you can
  take a taxi.

Accommodation:

• The Occidental Aran Park Hotel is a 5-10 min walk from INGV's main building.
• In the city center, the suggested areas are “Colosseo” or “Monti”, which are close to Metro Line B.
