Presentation of Global Tsunami Model (GTM) Concept
With over 60 participants, a very successful side event of the WCEE 2024 was held by the COST Innovators Grant IG18109 Sustaining AGITHAR. Representatives of insurance and re-insurance industry, of disaster management organizations, the engineering community, and relief organizations gathered to hear about the concept of a Global Tsunami Model (GTM) association. Intense discussions on requirements and demands from users and providers of data and methods lead to new insights. The CIG organizers thank GEM (Global Earthquake Model) for kind support.
